Dave Maloney is the founder of Movement & Mobilizations. He is a health and human performance coach who blends strength and conditioning, functional movement and biomechanics together in his programs to optimize human physiology. Dave’s philosophy is first based upon restoring function. As function improves adaptations continue to occur in strength, speed, power, endurance, mobility, coordination, health and wellness.
He has acquired a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Dave is a certified Movement & Mobility Specialist and MobilityWod Coach with The Ready State. He is also a certified Level 1 Olympic Lifting Coach with USA Weightlifting. In addition, he is a certified by the Titleist Performance Institute as a Level 2 Fitness Professional. He has 4 years experience working with teams, groups and individuals teaching the latest techniques in the field of exercise physiology. Dave learned much of his knowledge while working alongside Jason Lindsay of TOPTEAM Sports Performance located in Huntersville North Carolina.
While at TOPTEAM Dave trained a wide variety of clients. Those clients included NASCAR pit crew athletes, collegiate golfers, professional golfers, high school athletes and general public of all ages.
Dave decided it was time to move back home to assist his family in Southern New Jersey. Following the relocation he started Movement & Mobilizations.
The mission at Movement & Mobilizations is to optimize each client’s performance by maximizing their function through the administration of strength & conditioning, biomechanics, functional movement, nutrition and recovery. Our individual all-inclusive programs specialize in teaching the latest techniques in the field of exercise physiology. Our goal is to maximize performance while reducing the risk of injury and maintaining a high quality life.
Today Dave works with a variety of clients including the general and athletic population, military, law enforcement, EMTs and firefighters. His passion to help others lead him to develop a Skilled Conditioning program for individuals looking to maximize their performance, gain strength & endurance, prevent injury and understand human movement. He also instructs Body Works, a group fitness class he created to help people receive an effective full body functional workout.
